Q-1) 사전 등록은 어떻게 하는건가요?

A-1) "Register as Hacker" 버튼을 클릭하시고 Form을 제출하시면 등록 완료입니다!

Q-2) Register as a Hacker는 무조건 해야 되는건가요?

A-2) 네 모든 해커톤 참여자들은 Hacker로 등록이 되어야 합니다. 그래야 팀원으로 함께 프로젝트를 제출할 수 있습니다.

Q-3) 팀 구성은 어떻게 하는건가요?

A-3) 우선 Hacker로 등록하고 이후 프로젝트 제출시 팀원을 등록하실 수 있습니다. 또한 "Join a Team" 기능을 통해 팀원을 구하실 수도 있습니다.

해커톤 소개

Kaia, Tether, Kakaopay, LINE NEXT, Ratel이 함께 주최하는 제 1회 대한민국 스테이블코인 해커톤은 한국이 글로벌 스테이클코인 중심국가로 나아가는 첫걸음으로서, 참여자들은 총 1억 원 규모의 상금과 함께 Kaia Wave 및 심산 벤쳐스와의 투자 연계 기회를 얻게 됩니다. 이번 해커톤은 아시아 최대 Web3 생태계에서 현실 세계에서 작동하는 스테이블코인 사례들을 활성화하는 출발점이 될 것이며, 정책 결정자들도 이 행사에 주목하여 민병덕 국회의원님 (디지털자산기본법 발의자) 시상식 축사도 예정되어 있습니다. 이번 행사는 한국의 스테이블코인 시대의 개막을 알리는 상징적인 행사이며, 아시아가 글로벌 기준을 이끌 준비가 되었음을 보여주는 무대입니다.

트랙

이번 해커톤의 트랙은 총 두가지로 구성됩니다.

• 원화 스테이블코인 아이디어톤
  • 원화 스테이블코인으로 금융과 일상의 경계를 허무는 혁신을 탐구합니다. 실사용 가치를 증명할 창의적 비즈니스 및 프로덕트를 제안해 주세요.
• 카이아 기반 네이티브 USDT DeFi 해커톤
  • Kaia 네이티브 USDT를 활용하여 다양한 영역의 DeFi 프로토콜을 빌드합니다. 해당 프로젝트는 LINE 메신저의 MiniDapp으로 개발 될 수 있으며, DeFi MiniDapp 프로젝트의 경우 심사시 가산점이 부여될 수 있습니다. (단, MiniDapp으로 온보딩 시 제한사항이 존재합니다. 자세한 내용은 아래 "기타 사항"에서 확인해주세요)

상금내역

해커톤의 총 상금은 75,000 USDT로, 약 1억 원 규모입니다.

각 트랙별로 37,500 USDT의 상금이 배정되며, 세부 시상 내역은 아래와 같습니다.

• 대상: 18,500 USDT
• 최우수상: 12,000 USDT
• 우수상: 7,000 USDT

해커톤 사후 프로그램

상금 외에도 수상자들을 위해 아래와 같은 사후 프로그램이 제공될 예정입니다.

• 수상작 대상 정책 제언 보고서 작성 및 민병덕 의원실 전달
• 주최사 연계 사업화 또는 투자 지원 검토 (Kaia Wave, 심산 벤쳐스)
• 멘토링 및 인큐베이팅 프로그램 연계 지원

기타 사항

MiniDapp 온보딩 관련 안내사항

현재 LINE의 MiniDapp으로 온보딩 가능한 DeFi 프로덕트는 아래 세가지 케이스만 존재합니다. 따라서, MiniDapp 개발을 목표로 하는 경우 해당 사항을 참고해주시길 바랍니다.

Case 1: The partner directly provides the DeFi service within the Mini Dapp (DeFi) on the Dapp Portal.

• Staking, Lending, Liquid Staking, and Launchpad are allowed.
• However, Launchpad is NOT allowed if its features are interpreted as "intermediation" of crypto asset trading or exchange.

Case 2: The partner provides the DeFi sevice via an outlink from a Mini Dapp (non-defi) on the Dapp Portal

• Staking, Lending, and Liquid Staking and Launchpad are allowed.
• However, Launchpad is NOT allowed if its features are interpreted as "intermediation" of crypto asset trading or exchange.

Case 3: The partner does not expose the DeFi service within the Mini Dapp (non-defi) on the Dapp Portal and only enables the connection of the Dapp Portal Wallet to theexternal DeFi service.

• Staking, Lending, Liquid Staking, and Launchpad are all allowed.

Introduction

The Korea Stablecoin Hackathon, co-hosted by Kaia, Tether, KakaoPay, LINE NEXT, and Ratel, marks Korea’s first step toward becoming a global stablecoin hub. Participants will compete for a total prize pool of ₩100 million and gain potential investment opportunities through Kaia Wave and SimSan Ventures. Policymakers are also paying attention—National Assembly Member Min Byung-Deok (proposer of the Digital Asset Basic Act) will deliver congratulatory remarks at the awards ceremony. This event is a symbolic start to Korea’s stablecoin era and a stage that shows Asia is ready to set the global standard.

Tracks

The hackathon features two tracks:

1. KRW Stablecoin Ideathon Explore innovations that break down the boundaries between finance and everyday life using a KRW Stablecoin. Propose creative business models and products that prove real-world utility.
2. Kaia-Native USDT DeFi Hackathon Build DeFi protocols in various areas using Kaia-native USDT, such as lending/borrowing, LST, AMM/DEX, and derivatives/perpetuals. Projects can be developed as LINE Messenger MiniDapps, and DeFi MiniDapp projects may receive bonus points during judging. (Note: MiniDapp onboarding has certain restrictions—see “Other Information” below.)

Prize Pool

The total prize pool is 75,000 USDT (about ₩100 million).

Each track is allocated 37,500 USDT, distributed as follows:

• Winner: 18,500 USDT
• Runner up #1: 12,000 USDT
• Runner up #2: 7,000 USDT

Post-Hackathon Programs

In addition to prizes, the following post-hackathon programs will be offered to winners:

• Preparation of a policy-recommendation report based on winning projects, delivered to Representative Min Byung-Deok’s office
• Potential investment support through Kaia Wave and ShimSan Ventures
• Mentoring and incubation support
• Media exposure and promotion

• Eligibility: Anyone interested in stablecoins or Web3. Developers, designers, university (graduate) students, aspiring founders, existing founders, startups may participate individually or as a team.
• Team size: Minimum 1 to maximum 5 members.

Other Information

MiniDapp Onboarding Guidelines

Currently, only the following three cases of DeFi products are allowed to be onboarded as MiniDapps in LINE Messenger. If you aim to develop a MiniDapp, please review these cases:
