# Caffeine Promptathon - Building the Self-Writing Internet Together ## Introduction Welcome to the **Caffeine Promptathon**! This is an exciting hackathon focused on building innovative applications using Caffeine's conversational AI platform. Whether you're a developer leveraging Caffeine's technical capabilities or an entrepreneur and creator crafting incredible apps, this event is designed to help you build the self-writing internet together. The Caffeine Promptathon features two main tracks: - **Commerce Apps**: Apps with checkout and clear economic purpose (e.g. shop, marketplace, yield manager) - **Personal Apps**: Tools for individuals or small teams, without commercial intent (e.g. community tracker, time tracker, wellbeing app). **Important**: Caffeine is currently in alpha, so please use the Help & Support team via Telegram for any issues. Remember - no social media posts about Caffeine's look, features, or capabilities until after the event ends. Sharing online during the event will lead to disqualification. Save your posts for after the event! ## **Hackathon Program Overview**  **09:30 am – 10:45 am: Check-in, Breakfast & Welcome** - Register, pick up your badge, grab breakfast, and secure your seat. - Network, meet fellow builders and join us for a welcome session in the auditorium **10:45 am – 11:30 am: Onboarding and Caffeine AI in action** - Welcome remarks, agenda overview, intro to mentors and judges - Intro to Caffeine, Hackathon Guidelines and tips **11:30 am – 3:30 pm: Hackathon** - Build your project(s) - Connect with mentors and coaches **3:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Judging** - Judges' reviews - Winners’ selection **5:00 pm – 5:30 pm: Hackathon Awards Ceremony on the Main Stage** - Winner announcements  - Projects presentation **5:30 pm – 6:00 pm: Networking Drinks** - Celebrate, connect, and network. **Limited Seats** - Seats for the hackathon are limited. Admission is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please arrive early. - If we reach capacity for the hackathon, you’re still welcome to join the full event program, which includes live Caffeine demos, showcases, keynotes, panel discussions with industry leaders, and excellent networking opportunities. **Submission Deadline**: - Submissions start at 15:00 - Submissions close at 15:30 ## Prizes 💰 **Total Prize Pool: $2,000** - **Commerce App Winner**: $1,000 - **Personal App Winner**: $1,000 ## **Important - Arrive Early & Bring your Laptop**:  - Although the event page lists a 10:00 am start time for general attendees, all hackathon participants should arrive and register between **9:30 am and 10:30 am**. - Seats are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We invite you to arrive early to ensure your seat is secured. - You must bring a laptop to fully access Caffeine and compete.
