# Objective / Summary TLDR; Hybrid hackathon runs from November 17th - 22nd Objective: Grow Unbound Science’s community and add additional features for the alpha & beta launch of the Unbound Science platform. This is a hybrid virtual/in-person hackathon. Remote developers may apply for bounties, but hardware availability/shipping to some regions may be limited. In such cases, prizes are subject to substitution. 2. Instead of competing teams, we want to maximize time and effort by having each solo hacker/team build one thing the Unbound Science platform needs. People may choose from the list of available bounties upon arrival. Prizes are guaranteed for all submissions that pass the quality check (complete, production-ready).  3. Hackathon participants must register by 4pm on November 18th. Registration will start at 12pm on November 18th. 4. Submissions will be due for a check-in by 4pm on November 20th for feedback. 5. Unlimited revisions until 10pm on November 22nd. Final submissions due at that time. 6. Team will be available to guide and provide direction and vision. More interaction than usual for hackathons is highly encouraged. 7. **Quality over Quantity** - Production-ready results are required for prizes. Please do not pick a bounty you don’t think you can accomplish in one week. If you find out later you cannot finish, please include instructions on what’s needed to get it finalized. Prizes may still be awarded upon agreement to finish later. 8. Vibe coding tools are allowed, but be persistent with making them functional and double-checking the work.  9. Dark-mode by default is required. Light mode is completely optional; many features do not have it at all. 10. The hackathon will run all week. Pick the most comfortable location for you to work out of. Unbound Science will reserve a small space at or nearby the main venue for in-person check in and prize distribution. 11. Prizes will be distributed on November 23rd from a location near the main Devconnect venue.
