# π Build the Future of DeFi on Aptos
***From high-performance trading infrastructure to real world payments β redefine how finance works in a decentralized world***
Aptos was built to power the next generation of decentralized finance. With low fees, lightning-fast finality, and parallel execution, Aptos provides the foundation for scalable and composable DeFi. Builders can leverage native Aptos primitives to create applications that are performant, and ready for mass adoption.
This track invites builders to innovate across the full spectrum of DeFi on Aptos. Whether you're enhancing on-chain liquidity infrastructure, rethinking payments and stablecoin rails, or creating new financial products, this is your playground. Use Aptos primitives to deliver fast, composable, and user-centric solutions.
## What should you build?
Weβre open to ideas, but here are a couple areas we see the need for further development:
**𧩠Trading & Market Infrastructure**
- Build with or around Central Limit Order Books (CLOBs)
- On-chain matching engines, analytics dashboards, vault strategies
- Composability with Aptos-native platforms like Merkle Trade, Hyperion, and Tapp
**𧩠New Financial Products**
- P2P lending, tokenized RWAs, prediction or options markets
- Social trading apps, mobile-first UIs, Telegram trading bots
- Vaults and copy-trading mechanics inspired by leading DeFi platforms
**𧩠Payments & Money Movement**
- Global remittance and P2P payment apps using stablecoins
- On-chain FOREX, payroll, or treasury management tools
- Fiat on/off-ramps for real-world utility
