# **Build What Matters, Build on Core**
Are you ready to take your breakthrough idea to the global stage?
Join the [Core Connect Global Buildathon](https://coredao.org/initiatives/core-connect-buildathon) and compete for your share of up to **$1.2M** in rewards.
Whether you're building cutting-edge solutions in **BTCfi, AI, SocialFi, DeFi, Gaming, or Web3 infra** — this is your moment to launch, scale, and pitch at the global stage in Singapore.
The Core Connect Global Buildathon is an online global buildathon, an open call for innovation, supported by IRL meetups hosted across **Africa, Asia, Europe, APAC/SEA, and Latin America.** It culminates in a global pitch finale in **Singapore at Token2049**. All Core Connect Global Buildathon finalists will receive **travel scholarships** for the Global Finale in Singapore.

# **Submission Requirements**
- URL to GitHub repository containing the project codebase.
- A detailed README file should be included in the GitHub repo explaining the prerequisites and other details on how to run the project locally.
- A short video explaining what the project is about, what the innovation is, Core blockchain integration, and the working of the project's backend and UI.
- A short presentation on the project, explaining what the project is about, what the innovation is, Core blockchain and CORE integration, and the working of the project backend and UI.
- Entrants are allowed to submit more than one submission. However, each submission must be unique and substantially different from the others.
- All submission materials, including the demonstration video, text description, testing instructions, and any other accompanying materials, **must be in English**.
- Projects submitted to other hackathons or challenges need to be disclosed in the submission or README of the project.
- Projects must be deployed on the Core Testnet2 or Mainnet to be eligible for rewards.
- Judges will evaluate project submissions based on how the team implements their features and the uniqueness of the application.
