# How will projects be judged?
Submissions will be graded by the Ancient8 Builder Jam judging panel. Judges will rely on the following criteria to evaluate each project, including but not limited to:
- **Basic criteria**: Entries need to satisfy the specifications set out in the original submission requirements.
- **Feasibility**: Whether the project can be successfully deployed with the current technology, market conditions, team ability and other resources?
- **Applicability**: What problem is the project trying to solve? Does it really need to be solved in the short, medium or long term?
- **Scalability**: What is the market size that the project aims to reach?
- **Creativity**: Is the project founded on original ideas or is built upon existing solutions? How innovative is it compared to other deployments?
- **Source code**: The project must be open sourced by the time of submission. (You can close the source to other participants). What is the structure, quality, security and performance of the code?
- **Operability**: The abilities and performance that the project provides.
- **User experience**: How will the project enhance the experience or reduce the entry barriers for existing and upcoming Web3 users?
Product stage: Which stage is the project currently in?
On-chain involvement: The scale of being on-chain of the project (especially to submissions in the Game track).
- **GTM Strategy**: Has the project formulated a plan to bring the product to a targeted audience? What is the level of detail and feasibility of the plan?
- **Impacts to the Ancient8 và Superchain ecosystems**: What are the project's contributions/impacts and how committed are the project/team to the Ancient8 and Optimism Superchain ecosystems?
