💜 About She ShipsShe Ships is a 48-hour Global Hackathon celebrating International Women’s Day (8M) through action.This is not just a traditional hackathon. It is an interdisciplinary space where women across tech, design, art, research and culture come together to build and publish something real.For 48 hours, participants move from idea to execution. We will ship live projects that address real challenges connected to gender equity and women’s experiences.What makes She Ships special:Global and remote, welcoming multidisciplinary creators from around the world.Focused on shipping real and sharing public outputs.Centered around problems related to 8M.Supported by mentors and educational & tech partners.Participants are required to publish a live link: whether it’s a web app, AI tool, prototype, digital comic, research platform, interactive experience, or cultural project.We believe in learning by doing.We believe in launching before perfecting.And we believe that building is a powerful way to celebrate 8M.
