Welcome to the XDC × Tribes Global Hackathon! Build innovative blockchain solutions using the XDC Network and Tribes OS — from DeFi to on-chain communities, games, and beyond. This is your chance to showcase creativity, push boundaries, and win bounties while joining a global builder community.

• Global Online Hackathon: September 12 – September 20, 2025
• Last Date for Submissions: September 23, 2025
• Judging & Regional Finalist Selection: October 4, 2025
• Results Announcement: October 10, 2025

Prizes

Total Prize Pool: 500 USDT

• Grand Prize: 250 USDT
• Runner-up: 150 USDT
• Best Use of Tribes Features: 100 USDT

Eligibility

• Open to students, developers, startups, and independent builders worldwide.
• Teams (up to 5 members) or solo participants welcome.
• Multiple submissions allowed if projects are unique and substantially different.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated on:

• Innovation & Creativity – uniqueness of idea.
• Technical Implementation – code quality and use of XDC.
• Integration of Tribes Features – governance, events, XP/badges, token-gated spaces.
• Real-World Use Case & Adoption Potential – practical impact and scalability.

Submission Instructions

Each team must complete the following:

1. GitHub Repository – full project codebase with README (setup, dependencies, run instructions).
2. Deployment – project deployed on XDC Apothem Testnet or Mainnet.
3. Video Demo (2–3 mins) – optional but recommended for clear presentation.

Promotional Requirements (part of submission):

• Post about your project on Twitter, tagging @tribes_astrix.
• Share your project on LinkedIn.
• Submit your BUIDL on DoraHacks.
• Add your project as a Proposal on Tribes (to showcase to the community).

Rules & Disqualification

• All submissions must be original. Plagiarism or resubmission of old work will be disqualified.
• Projects must be deployed on XDC to qualify.
• Teams must follow submission deadlines strictly.

Intellectual Property

All participants retain full ownership of their projects. By submitting, you grant Tribes & XDC permission to feature your work in marketing, community showcases, or demo days.
