Your mission
As a Localisation Specialist at Bitpanda, you will be supporting the Localisation team with the project management of both day-to-day work and larger-scale projects. This also includes translation and localisation tasks of different fields and domains from English to German as well as other language-based assignments, such as quality assurance.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align localisation efforts with company goals
- Assist the Team Lead in managing localisation projects, ensuring smooth coordination, timely execution, and alignment with business objectives
- Support with agency communication and the company’s expansion efforts
- Proofread and perform language quality checks on the localised content to make sure we always speak the language of our users
- Translate copy from English to German that will be used across multiple platforms (e.g. internal, website or apps, marketing campaigns) to make sure we deliver a great localised experience to our German-speaking users
- Consistently improve the linguistic assets (term base, style guide, glossaries) as new products, features and campaigns go live
Who you are
- You have a strong command of German and English and a deep understanding of linguistic nuances. Other languages are a plus
- You have experience in localisation and project coordination, ideally within a structured environment
- You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting
- You’re proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different teams.
- You’re passionate about delivering high-quality, localised content that resonates with German-speaking audiences
