Australian Tax Manager

₹10,00,000 - ₹15,00,000 a year

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping as per Australian accounting standards
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Manage Australian taxation compliance including BAS, GST, PAYG, and Income Tax returns
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, payroll, and balance sheet items
• Assist in audits and liaise with external accountants or auditors
• Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and deadlines
• Support financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified CPA Australia / CA equivalent
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Hands-on experience with Australian clients/accounts
• Experience in BAS, GST, payroll processing, and tax filings
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Preferred Profile
• Experience working in outsourcing/KPO/accounting firms handling Australian clients
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting
