AWS Pre-sales Consultant

We are looking for an experienced AWS Pre-sales Consultant who can completely own the customer engagement lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to service selection and implementation guidance. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business requirements, current infrastructure, and cloud readiness.
• Design end-to-end AWS architectures based on customer needs and best practices.
• Recommend appropriate AWS services and architecture patterns for different workloads.
• Own the entire solution lifecycle, from discovery to architecture design, solution proposal, and implementation guidance.
• Work closely with customers on cloud migration and modernization initiatives using AWS MAP.
• Develop solutions aligned with AWS Competency standards and partner best practices.
• Conduct technical workshops, architecture discussions, and solution presentations with customers. 
• Be responsible for creating and maintaining all technical and solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution design documents, AWS MAP documentation, migration plans, and customer deliverables. 
• Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions. 
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution proposals.
• Ensure architectures follow AWS Well-Architected Framework principles including security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization. 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 8 to 12 years of experience in AWS consulting, or solution architecture roles. 
• Strong expertise across AWS core services, experience working with AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) and understanding of AWS Competencies and partner programs.
• Experience designing cloud migration strategies and landing zones.
• Excellent communication and strong experience in customer-facing roles and architecture discussions and ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
