We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with over 4+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in IaaS and PaaS services, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructures (IaaS and PaaS).
Configure and manage Azure networking components: Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, VPNs, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Azure Bastion, and Traffic Manager.
Implement and troubleshoot security features including Azure Firewall, Azure DDoS Protection, Key Vault, and TLS/SSL certificate bindings.
Implementation of Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) across AWS and Azure environments, introducing governance, monitoring, and cost optimization strategies that results in reduction of annual cloud expenditure.
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patching, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery setup for Azure VMs and services.
Use Terraform and ARM templates for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments.
Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and OMS.
Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) including user/group/role configurations and Conditional Access policies.
Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering, architecture design, and service delivery.
Document SOPs, design patterns, and configuration guidelines.
Coordinate with network and security teams for DNS changes and compliance requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VM provisioning, connectivity, access, and backup failures.

Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS), Cloud Cost Optimization (multi-cloud)
Tools & Technologies: Terraform, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell
Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Netcool
Networking: NSGs, Azure Traffic Manager, VPN Gateway, Bastion, DNS, Public/Private IPs
Security: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Firewall, TLS/SSL, Key Vault, Conditional Access, MFA
DevOps & Automation: Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates
Systems: Windows and Linux OS
Databases & Storage: Azure SQL, Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table, File)
Ticketing Systems: ITSM tools, WIN approach

Certifications Preferred:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Post-graduation from Dravidian University (preferred).
