Business Analyst – Product Control, Regulatory Reporting
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Product Control Regulatory Reporting team within a leading banking environment. The role focuses on supporting regulatory change, ensuring data integrity, and strengthening controls across finance and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Analyst within Product Control, supporting regulatory reporting initiatives (e.g. capital, liquidity, financial reporting)
- Analyse business requirements and translate regulatory rules into clear, actionable specifications
- Partner closely with Finance, Product Control, Risk, IT, and Regulatory Reporting teams
- Assess impacts of regulatory change on data, processes, controls, and systems
- Support process improvements, reconciliations, and control enhancements across reporting cycles
- Contribute to UAT, defect management, and implementation support
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, process flows, and impact assessments
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking, with strong Product Control exposure
- Hands-on experience working within Regulatory Reporting or regulatory change programs
- Solid understanding of financial products, P&L, balance sheet, and control frameworks
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to work with complex datasets
- Experience working in change or transformation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with specific regulatory frameworks (e.g. Basel, CRR/CRD, IFRS, FINREP, COREP)
- Background in finance change, reporting automation, or data governance
- Familiarity with reporting tools and data platforms
