We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Business Development Executive (Intern) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about business growth, relationship building, and client engagement. As part of the business development team, you will work closely with senior members to convert inbound leads into meaningful business opportunities while also supporting strategic outreach through professional networking platforms.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to the complete business development lifecycle—from lead qualification and client communication to proposal creation and deal closure. You will have the opportunity to interact with senior professionals, understand client requirements, and contribute to building long-term business relationships.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Client Communication
Engage with
inbound leads through calls, emails, and professional communication
channels.Understand client requirements, qualify opportunities, and maintain consistent
follow-ups.Ensure prompt response to incoming enquiries while maintaining a high level of
professionalism.Maintain accurate records of conversations and lead progress in internal tracking systems.
2. Negotiation & Deal Closure
Assist in managing the sales pipeline and supporting deal
progression.Participate in negotiations with prospective clients under the guidance of senior team
members.Help convert qualified leads into successful business
partnerships.Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly conversion targets.
3. Lead Generation through LinkedIn & Social Media
Identify potential business opportunities using
LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.Research companies, decision-makers, and industry trends to identify new
prospects.Build and maintain a professional outreach strategy to support pipeline
growth.Collaborate with the team to develop creative approaches for digital lead generation.
4. Corporate Meetings & Client Engagement
Visit corporate offices and participate in meetings with senior executives, including Directors, Vice Presidents, and CXO-level
leaders.Support relationship-building efforts by understanding client business needs and presenting relevant
solutions.Assist in coordinating client discussions, follow-ups, and documentation.
5. Proposal Writing & Presentations
Prepare professional proposals, business documents, and client
presentations.Work with internal teams to structure compelling business
pitches.Customize presentations based on client requirements and industry
context.Support the team during client presentations and demonstrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related
field.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in speaking with
professionals.Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain professional
relationships.Good negotiation and persuasion skills.Familiarity with
LinkedIn and social media platforms for professional
networking.Basic knowledge of
PowerPoint/Google Slides and proposal writing.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
