Coinflow enables businesses to grow faster with instant settlement, fraud & chargeback indemnity, global pay-ins, multi-currency FX, and unified payouts. Since our seed round in 2024, we’ve achieved 23x revenue growth and scaled to multi-billion-dollar annual transaction volume. In response to this growth, Coinflow announced a $25M Series A in October 2025—led by Pantera Capital, CMT Digital, Coinbase Ventures, Jump Crypto, and Reciprocal Ventures—accelerating our mission to power the world’s fastest-moving businesses with innovative, reliable global payments.

Role Overview:
Coinflow is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join our legal team as our second legal hire. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a legal function from the ground up at a fast-growing fintech. You’ll work closely with the Head of Legal across a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on commercial contracts, and play a hands-on role in building the processes, playbooks, and infrastructure that will define how our legal team operates as Coinflow scales.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment. The successful candidate will be flexible, responsive, willing to jump in and comfortable with the unknown. We’re looking for someone who is equal parts pragmatic lawyer, meticulous organizer, and enthusiastic builder.
What You’ll Do
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including merchant agreements, partner and vendor contracts and NDAs.
Develop and maintain contract templates, fallback positions, and a scalable contract management process.
Serve as a trusted legal partner to sales and other business stakeholders.
Partner with the Head of Legal to design, select and implement legal team workflows, AI, legal technology tools, knowledge management systems, and self-service tools that reduce bottlenecks and empower the business.
Create and maintain internal legal resources including FAQ guides, policy templates, and training materials for cross-functional teams.
Assist with corporate governance matters, including board and equity administration support.
Support regulatory and compliance initiatives relevant to the payments industry.
Collaborate on product counseling, helping teams navigate the legal and regulatory landscape as new features and markets are launched.
Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Required Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
4-7 years of legal experience, ideally a mix of law firm and in-house, with meaningful exposure to commercial contracts.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a track record of managing a high-volume contract workload independently.
Exceptional organizational skills and a genuine interest in building repeatable, efficient legal processes.
Comfort operating in ambiguity. You don't need a playbook to exist before you can do good work; you'd rather write the playbook yourself.
Excellent judgment about when to escalate, when to push back, and when to find a creative path forward.
Clear, concise communication style with the ability to translate legal risk into business terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in payments, fintech, or other regulated financial services.
Experience implementing legal technology or building legal operations processes.
Exposure to privacy law (CCPA, GDPR) or data protection frameworks.
Why Join Us
Be the second legal hire and have a direct hand in building a legal department from scratch.
Work alongside a Head of Legal who is invested in your growth and development.
Gain broad exposure across commercial, regulatory, product, and corporate legal matters.
Join a company at the intersection of technology and financial services during a period of rapid growth.
Join the team rewriting how money moves worldwide—and become a driving force in the $194 trillion cross-border payments market.
