About the Role
We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects in the financial services/ HFT space, we are looking for a Linux Trading System Engineer to build, improve, and maintain a complex Linux environment. This position is based in Hong Kong (Onsite).
Key Responsibilities
- Administer/upgrade servers via centralized platform
- Provide APAC operational support in follow-the-sun model
- Design/install Linux for stream/batch processing & ETL
- Provision environments with Dev/IT teams
- Automate deployments & innovate improvements
- R&D new solutions; adopt emerging tech
- Ensure global reliability/scalability
Requirements
- 3+ years Linux admin experience is required
- Enterprise Linux + networking (DNS/DHCP/routing/multicast)
- Experienced in Config mgmt (Ansible/Puppet/Foreman)
- Storage/load-balancing/hardware knowledge
- Git + Python/Bash scripting is a must.
