Join our global Compliance team as Regulatory Developments Lead, supporting the Global Head of Regulatory Management in delivering the regulatory developments framework. The role involves leading the program for the identification, analysis, and coordination of regulatory developments impacting the firm, while contributing to global regulatory initiatives.
Your future role within QRT:
- Support the existing horizon scanning framework including analyse consultations, policy statements, rules, guidance and supervisory communication.
- Produce structured impact assessments across trading, risk, capital, reporting, governance and distribution. Provide executive-level summaries and board-ready briefing papers.
- For specific regulatory developments act as Lead or co-lead for implementation of significant regulatory change initiatives.
- Translate regulatory requirements into initial business, operational and technology deliverables.
- Working alongside Compliance SMEs, define compliance frameworks, policy changes and process updates arising from regulatory developments.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and evidencing of implementation including traceability frameworks, governance updates, implementation trackers.
- Prepare materials for governance meetings including implementation timelines, metrics, thematic summaries and global analysis of trends.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement including partnering with key business partners, arranging period updates and attendance at relevant governance forums.
Your present skillset:
- 10+ years prior experience in a similar role.
- Sound understanding of the scope and impact of regulatory developments relating to the regulatory environment QRT operates.
- Strategic thinker with commercial awareness; Strong stakeholder management across global teams; High credibility with senior executives.
- Prior experience managing and implementing change in a global environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Structured, team- player, detail-oriented and delivery-focused with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
