Senior Java Engineer, Wallet Smart Account Team

Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, secure backend services for OKX Wallet and payment infrastructure.

• On-Chain Integration: Build and maintain robust interfaces with the EVM ecosystem and emerging high-performance chains (Solana, Sui, Aptos).

• Payment Engineering: Develop secure and efficient transaction processing systems, merging traditional payment reliability with blockchain transparency.

• Problem Solving: Act as a technical pillar for the team, identifying and resolving complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.

• Innovation: Drive the adoption of Account Abstraction (AA) and other cutting-edge EIPs to enhance the user experience of decentralized finance.

Requirements

• Senior Engineering Background: Extensive experience in Java development with a proven track record of managing high-traffic, mission-critical production environments.

• Web3 Native: Deep expertise in the EVM ecosystem. You should be comfortable with on-chain data structures, transaction lifecycles, and smart contract interactions.

• Multi-Stack Proficiency: While Java is our core, familiarity with Go or Rust is highly preferred to support our multi-language infrastructure.

• Crypto Passion: You are a "Chain Surfer." You stay updated on the latest DeFi trends, use dApps personally, and have an unshakable belief in the future of the industry.

• Soft Skills: High energy, proactive ownership ("Get Things Done"), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Advanced Wallet Tech: Deep understanding of Account Abstraction (ERC-4337), EIP-7702, or MPC/TSS wallet architectures.

• Multi-Chain Expertise: Hands-on experience with non-EVM chains like Solana, Sui, or Aptos.

• Payment Industry Experience: Prior background in traditional FinTech, clearing/settlement systems, or payment gateways.

• Polyglot Developer: Ability to contribute to our Rust or Go-based microservices.
